A source in the American administration claimed today (Thursday) that Israel is demanding to continue the operation in Rafah even in the event of a ceasefire with Hamas.

The source told the American NBC network that Jerusalem is demanding that the operation in Rafah not be included in negotiations with Hamas and that it continue even in the case of a cease-fire with the terrorist group and a hostage deal.

Earlier, an Israeli source said that there is "deep frustration" with President Biden's statements regarding the cessation of ammunition transfers to Israel, and that Israel is preparing to continue fighting despite the threats.
