The IDF Spokesperson confirmed that during the night (Tuesday), Air Force fighter planes successfully intercepted an unmanned aircraft heading to Israel from the east.

According to the army, the drone was being tracked by IDF forces and did not cross into Israeli territory. As such, there was no need to operate the warning sirens. No casualties or damage were caused.

Iraqi militias confirmed that they attacked the "Zionist occupation's military site of Shafir" with a drone, in response to the continued fight in Gaza and the entrance into Rafah.
