Attempted terrorist attack in Jerusalem's Old City

A young woman detained by police pulled a knife on police and Border Guard officers and was arrested and sent for interrogation.

Officers of the Israel Police and the Border Guard arrested a suspect today (Sunday) who pulled a knife on them.

According to the Police, officers noted suspicious activity on the part of a young woman, with her hand held under her head covering. When asked to remove her hand, she refused. When the officers started examining her, she pulled out a knife.

The officers overcame her and she was transferred to security forces for interrogation.

No casualties were reported in the incident.
