Tzav Tesha activists blocked Allenby Bridge last night (between Monday and Wednesday), preventing hundreds of trucks setting out from Jordan to provide humanitarian aid to Gaza.

Shlomo Sarid, a reservist who recently served in Gaza and joined in on the blockade said: "We are here, at the Allenby bridge. We came in the middle of the night to stop aid to Hamas, to show that we identify with our brothers kidnapped in Gaza. The little we can do to advance their freedom and apply pressure to Hamas - we are doing here and now."

He added that "just as they don't receive humanitarian aid, we will not allow the delivery of aid which goes direct to Hamas."
