Israel-Gaza War, Humanitarian Aid

Watch: IDF working intensively to help make US Gaza pier a success

The IDF said that the aid provided by the pier, once connected to the shore, would be protected by the Israeli Navy and buttressed by structures and infrastructure prepared nearby.

As the US continues to put together a planned temporary pier for the Gaza shore to help supply Gazan civilians with aid, the IDF is hard at work preparing the area near the planned pier site to most effectively distribute aid - including storage and transportation facilities. The area will also include extensive electrical and hydraulic facilities to make things more efficient.

The IDF said that the aid provided by the pier would be protected by the Israeli Navy and other forces as needed.
