Today (Sunday), Defense Minister Gallant visited one of the Arrow 3 batteries which took part in stopping Iran's attack last night, listening to officers on site and touring the joint US-Israel air defense war room with US Ambassador Jack Lew.
At the end of the tour, Gallant said that "yesterday, Israel experienced one of the most dramatic nights we've ever encountered - hundreds of missiles of various types were fired on the State of Israel, including over 100 ballistic missiles fired from Iran, each one of them with hundreds of kilograms of explosives. The extensive preparations we made together with our American partners led to very impressive results. The IDF prepared, via the ground, air, intelligence systems and other bodies."
He finished by saying that "we have an opportunity to form a strategic alliance against this serious threat of Iran, which threatens to place nuclear warheads on these missiles. This can be a very serious threat. The United States, Israel, and its allies stand shoulder to shoulder to defend against this threat."
