IDF Spokesperson Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari released a video today (Thursday) in English, laying out the army's increased efforts to ensure humanitarian aid reaches Gazan civilians throughout the Gaza Strip.

In addition to providing statistics on the amount of aid coming in from land, sea, and air, the Spokesperson mentioned the preparation of a crossing point in the northern Gaza Strip meant to help expedite truck-based supplies for civilians.

The Spokesperson further mentioned the US floating pier effort being built, which is meant to help deliver aid by sea, as an example of US-Israel cooperation. He further stated that the IDF is learning its lessons from the mistaken attack on the World Central Kitchen convoy and IDF procedures regarding aid workers have been reiterated to all IDF forces.

Finally, Hagari noted that the IDF had entirely evacuated Khan Yunis to not only better prepare for future operations against Hamas, but also allow displaced Gazans from Khan Yunis in Rafah to return, perhaps pointing to IDF plans regarding a future Rafah operation.
