Against the background of Iran's threats to attack Israel in revenge for the assassination of senior IRGC official Mohammad Reza Zahedi on Syrian soil, Israel believes it knows what the Iranian response will look like and has made it clear that it will be able to deal with any threat.

According to a report by Dana Weiss and Nir Dvori of Channel 12 News, Israeli officials believe that an Iranian response will come directly from Iranian territory in the form of missile fire. Security officials made it clear that the IDF's air defense systems will be able to deal with such a threat. In addition, it is believed that neither country is interested in all-out war.

Yesterday, (Thursday) head of Israel's Military Intelligence, Major General Aharon Haliva, referred to reports of possible Iranian threats and said: "I have told you time and time again that it is not certain that the worst is behind us and we await difficult times."

Following his statement, a general panic spread among the Israeli public and crowds started to stock up on essential supplies such as food, generators, and other products required in an emergency.

The IDF also responded to Haliva's statement and said that: "[His] statement was not made as a situation assessment but in an internal conversation that is not binding. There is currently no new threat that the IDF and the security establishment has not previously identified. The directives of the Home Front Command have not changed over the past day."

Regarding GPS disruptions that have spread to the center of the country, the IDF said it recommended defining your current location status as an "area of interest" in the Home Front Command application to ensure you will continue receiving alerts despite the disruptions.
