Defense Minister Yoav Gallant visited a Judea and Samaria Border Police base in the center of the country, where he was briefed on the forces’ activity to eliminate and arrest suspects in refugee camps throughout Judea and Samaria, and where he observed the capabilities of the soldiers and storming units.
After praising the troops for their work and telling them they would get everything they need from the government, Gallant addressed the broader picture:
“What we see here in Judea and Samaria is also happening in Gaza. Tonight it also happened in Shifa. The place Hamas terrorists thought was their hiding and safe place became, through quick action, into a death trap for the terrorists in the Shifa area. We took another step to collapsing Hamas in this step – another brick, another blow, it will continue and escalate until we eliminate Hamas and everything he represents. There will be no military or military-like rule by Hamas in the Gaza Strip. It will take as much time as it takes. We will eliminate this evil.”
