IDF Spokesperson: We are still confirming if Issa is dead

The Spokesperson also said that no hostages were in the area of the strike on Number Three Hamas leader Marwan Issa.

IDF Spokesperson Daniel Hagari issued a statement this evening (Monday) that the IDF conducted a strike a day ago against Marwan Issa, the number three leader of Hamas, as well as one of the planners of the October 7 massacre.

Hagari said that they had not finally confirmed the death of Issa due to his being underground and other intelligence complications. He also said that no Israeli hostages were in the area of the strike.
