The IDF announced today (Wednesday) that the combat team of the Nahal Brigade continues to operate in central Gaza, eliminating about 20 terrorists over the past 24 hours through sniper fire, as well as targeting militants with the help of a drone aircraft and fighter jets. In one of the sniper ambushes initiated by our forces, IDF soldiers eliminated 15 terrorists.
In another attack, fighter jets guided by previous intelligence attacked a Hamas infrastructure from which terrorists had launched anti-tank missiles towards the forces. After the attack, numerous explosions were heard, indicating the presence of a large amount of ammunition in the building.
In addition, IAF fighter jets eliminated two terrorists who had taken part in the October 7 massacre. Two platoon commanders and a squad leader of the Hamas Nukhba forces were liquidated.
After the Givati Brigade, operating in the Hamad neighborhood of Khan Yunis, identified a number of terrorists, a combat helicopter was called in to eliminate them. Later, the soldiers identified an armed terrorist moving in their direction before eliminating him as well.
During an ambush, soldiers belonging to the Bislamach brigade's combat team (828) identified five armed terrorists and killed them at short range.
