It finally happened: after three months of fighting in Gaza, the enlisted soldiers of the Paratroop Brigade finished their time in the area.

Dan Goldfus, commander of the 98th Division, spoke to the troops, thanking them for keeping up the fight for so long.

“Paratrooper Brigade, be proud of the many achievements you secured. You won in them all. I am proud of you. You are amazing fighters. We have not yet finished the war and our obligations. We are continuing to dismantle Hamas, destroy its systems above and below ground, to deal it blows and defeat it.”

According to him, “the mission is not over, and we must return all the hostages home. All of them – alive and not alive, indirectly or directly. We must kill or capture the arch-terrorists who are still in tunnels in Khan Yunis like rats.”

“We will continue to work hard, stubbornly and with determination, in order to complete the mission and prepare for the continuation of missions northward, southward … to our enemies I say: we have patience and determination and we will reach everywhere you hide. You have nowhere to run.”
