And Now For the Weather: Sea of Galilee continues to rise; mostly clear skies in coming days

The level of the Sea of Galilee rose another 5.5. cm last weekend and is less than a meter from reaching the upper red line.

The Sea of Galilee is less than a meter away from being considered full, according to Water Authority measurements conducted this morning (Sunday). According to the measurements, its level rose by 5.5 cm and now stands at 209.745 cm below sea level.

The data also shows that after a long period where the Sea of Galilee had more than a meter to go, the level changed and rose to just below 0.945 meters under the upper red level.

Weather Forecast for Sunday Through Wednesday

Sunday: partly cloudy to clear, with no change in temperatures.

Monday: clear to partly cloudy. Temperatures will increase slightly, and be higher than average.

Tuesday: local rains are expected during the day from the North to the northern Negev. Individual thunderstorms are possible. Temperatures will drop.

Wednesday: partly cloudy to clear, with a slight rise in temperatures.
