During a demonstration for a hostages release last night, (Saturday) a group of demonstrators unrelated to the abductees decided to march to Kaplan St. in Tel Aviv, where they began to disturb the peace while blocking the road.
Following these actions, a police officer announced that the demonstration was illegal and that protesters should clear the road.
The Police stated: "We take seriously the violations of order, which cause the police to divert forces that are engaged in security tasks and maintaining public safety. We will act with zero tolerance towards those who break the law and fail to obey police instructions."
"The Israel Police will allow the freedom of protest to be exercised, but will not allow disturbances that cause bodily harm or impair freedom of movement and endanger public safety," they added.
The rally came a day after Gaza truce talks got underway in Paris and Hamas reportedly eased some of its demands in a possible hostage exchange deal.
