A day after the dramatic rescue of the two hostages from a Rafah apartment, the police published dramatic footage from the helmet-mounted camera of a police Yamam special forces officer who took part in the operation.

During the complex work of extraction, the soldiers and hostages were fired upon heavily from the building and nearby structures. With a sharp, professional response, the Yamam forces returned fire, killing terrorists while physically shielding the hostages until they could get them home safely.
