Defense Minister Yoav Gallant noted during a flight over Gaza today (Sunday) that the operations in Khan Yunis will soon expand to other places.
While talking to the Air Force crew of squadron 100 at Hatzor base, Gallant stressed the importance of coordinating the Air Force with IDF forces on the ground in order to secure operational objectives.
The Defense Minister stressed the actions being done in the Gaza Strip, saying “I’ve just come off from a flight with squadron 100, touring over the Gaza Strip. I see the forces operating in the north of the Strip, in the center of the Strip, in the south of the Strip. Things look incredible, I experienced a real time Air Force strike in the south of the city of Gaza.”
According to him, “the precision, the quality of action, the perfect coordination with the forces – are very impressive. We are operating in intensive action in the Khan Yunis area and this will expand. The mushroom clouds of the tanks, of the artillery and of the Air Force planes, will continue to grace the skies of the Gaza Strip, until we secure our goals and especially – collapsing Hamas and returning the hostages home.”
