Watch: IDF Soldiers Capture the Central Square in Khan Yunis

Forces of the 7th Armored Brigade breached the way to Khan Yunis, raided the office of the Hamas military intelligence chief in Khan Yunis, and targeted guesthouses of senior Hamas officials, including the guesthouse of Yahya Sinwar. The central square in Khan Yunis has been captured.

Israel at war, the 72nd day. The fighters of the 7th Brigade Combat Team, who broke through to Khan Yunis, are now fighting in the area. The forces raided the office of the commander of the Khan Yunis brigade and terrorist and underground infrastructures in the area, reached the central Bani Suheila square in the heart of Khan Yunis, and gained operational control over it.

During the battles of the last week, the fighters of the brigade eliminated many terrorists, some of whom were eliminated by tank fire and exposed about 30 tunnel shafts. In addition, they attacked and destroyed dozens of anti-tank positions and observation posts, confiscated weapons such as grenades, and RPGs, and located many intelligence equipment such as telephones, computers, and terrorist instruction leaflets.

The fighters of the battle team raided the Hamas outpost of the "Deir al-Balah" battalion and confiscated intelligence equipment and military training books of the terrorist organization Hamas. In addition, the fighters raided the apartment of a terrorist in Noha'ba and located in his house weapons, means of control, and naval equipment.
