Sometimes I look at the messages they send me and I just can't believe it. First message: Kibbutz Sa'ad members from the Otef (Gaza envelope) are staying at the hotel these days and want to thank you. So yesterday they entered the kitchen of the "Nevo Hotel" kitchen in the Dead Sea for a few hours and shopped and worked and bothered themselves for an elaborate meal, with a pampering menu - for the hotel's employees. They thus treated everyone, from the manager to the last employee, with thunderous applause and a lot of excitement in the air.
Second message: Yishai Turgeman sent me a picture of soldiers with Tefillin, and explained that Noam the commander was with his soldiers in an operational activity. He could not put on Tefillin all day, and the sun had already set. All the soldiers felt his sorrow. The Tefillin were a few meters away, but it was forbidden to move there and certainly not to start putting them down. And what happened the next day? This is what you see in the picture: if one day Noam does not put on Tefillin, then the next day all the soldiers, of all shades, are asking to put on Tefillin, one after the other.
Third message: Minister of Health Uriel Buso told what he heard from 72-year-old Adina Moshe of Kibbutz Nir Oz, who was released from captivity. Just before the release, Adina argued with the terrorist from Hamas: she said that it would be better to release another woman first, who is older and in a worse condition.
From the hotel kitchen through Tefillin at the base to the captivity tunnels of Hamas - new chapters of kindness and generosity are being written here, between man and his Maker and between a man and his friend.
