The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs published a document in which it was stated that Israeli helicopters killed Israeli civilians in bombings of the Nature Party in Re'im in order to justify the attacks in the Gaza Strip.
The document states that "the preliminary investigation by the Israel Police reveals the falsity of the media materials that the occupation fabricates to justify its aggression against the Gaza Strip. According to the Hebrew media, the preliminary investigation by the Israel Police proved that on October 7, Israeli helicopters bombed Israeli citizens who participated in the nature festival, which means that Israeli warplanes caused a lot of destruction in the area and in some of the settlements.
According to the document, "Afterwards, the 'Hannibal Procedure' was activated, which allows the occupation police and the army to kill everyone. Therefore, the ministry believes that the result of this investigation casts doubt on the Israeli reports regarding the destruction and killing that took place in that area, especially with regard to the photos and videos that reflect the destruction and the fires that broke out in many houses, which are the result of this bombing.
At the end of the document, "the ministry calls on all media outlets, UN officials and state leaders to follow this issue, to pay attention to what the Hebrew media published about it and to examine their positions in light of this."
The words are said after an article by Josh Breiner in the Haaretz newspaper who wrote that "according to a police source, an investigation of the incident also shows that an IDF combat helicopter that arrived at the scene from the Ramat David base fired at the terrorists and apparently also hit some of the celebrants who were there."
