Bar added and also referred to the encounters with Hezbollah and stated that "we are of course well prepared with operational plans for the northern arena."
Bar went on to explain that the current fighting in Gaza has changed the conduct of the IDF and the Air Force and explained "the simplistic and historical division of air and land is a thing of the past - never before has the relationship between a pilot and a tank commander been so direct and close. Here we have developed a new fighting method in which every ground force of ours that meets an enemy on the ground is surrounded by air support of fighter planes that attack and destroy it."
The commander of the corps testified himself to the cooperation between the fighters and revealed "I landed a relief mission in the Apache a few hours ago, I can testify that everyone is doing a professional and good job, everyone is determined to succeed. All of these are based on a deep partnership, good will and brotherhood of fighters - I felt it in the air."
