During the war, this morning (Thursday), a shooting attack occurred not long ago near the Einav settlement in the Menashe Division. During the attack, terrorists fired at a vehicle that overturned as a result of the gunfire. Magen David Adom (MDA) paramedics and first responders confirmed the death of a man in his 30s with penetrating injuries.
IDF forces have launched a pursuit of the terrorists and have blocked routes in the area. As a result, the following routes are closed to traffic: the Beit Lid junction in both directions, the large Einav junction in both directions, the HaOrot junction for exiting, the Te'enim Crossing towards the east, the Shavei Shomron junction towards the north, and the exits from the Einav and Avnei Hefetz settlements.
Senior MDA paramedic Bentzi Landsberg reported, "When we arrived at the scene, we saw, beside the road, a vehicle upside down. The vehicle's driver, a man in his 30s, was unconscious, pulseless, and had penetrating injuries. We conducted medical checks, and shortly after, we had to declare his death."
Yossi Dagan: We have to change the 'diskette' in Judea and Samaria as well
Head of the Samaria Regional Council, Yossi Dagan, addressed the government following the attack and said, "Just two days ago, we requested to close the road from Shechem, but we were not heard. We need to change the diskette in Judea and Samaria, just like in Gaza. We all understand that from today, the family of the murderer will begin receiving a salary from the terrorist 'Palestinian Authority.' A prize for killing Jews."
"The terrorists in Judea and Samaria should receive the same treatment as their Nazi comrades in Gaza. We are not willing to pay in blood, neither in the Gaza envelope nor in Judea and Samaria. Be strong, deliver them a decisive blow, and we will prevail."
