In addition to Israel taking part in the competition and Sweden hosting, 35 other countries will participate and compete for the coveted title: Albania, Armenia, Australia, Austria, Azerbaijan, Belgium, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Georgia, Germany , Greece, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Moldova, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, San Marino, Serbia, Slovenia, Spain, Switzerland, Ukraine and United Kingdom.

Luxembourg, which was one of the countries that founded the competition in 1956 but was absent from it since 1993 due to economic problems, is making a surprising comeback and is returning to the competition this year.

Similar to the perception of the State of Israel around the world, even in the official post on the Instagram page, the comments calling for Israel to be banned from the competition following the war have already begun.
