The Russian Deputy Foreign Minister, Sergei Ryabkov, today (Tuesday) unequivocally accused the United States of being involved in the Ukrainian attack on the Kursk region in Russia, as reported by the Russian state news agency, TASS.

The deputy foreign minister claimed that the involvement of the United States in the "ongoing invasion", as he defined it, of Ukraine in the Kursk region of western Russia is a "clear fact". He emphasized that this is not just an accusation but a fact. Washington claims that it was not informed of Ukraine's plans for its invasion of Kursk on August 6. The United States also said it did not take part in the operation.

Ryabkov warned that "Washington's escalation is becoming more and more challenging" and added that in Russia one gets the impression that US officials "have thrown away the remnants of common sense and believe that everything is allowed to them". The deputy minister noted that even in Kyiv there are those who think so.
