The IDF held a general assessment this evening (Tuesday) regarding the army's readiness on all fronts, with the participation of IDF Chief of Staff Herzi Halevi and the General Staff, following the mass detonation of Hezbollah pagers in Lebanon which has injured thousands and killed at least 10.

The IDF Spokesperson sought to clarify that there is presently no change in Rear Command instructions for civilians and that if there is a change, citizens will be updated immediately.

Hezbollah has already issued an official declaration a short time ago (Tuesday), blaming Israel for the mass explosion of Hezbollah pagers which has killed at least nine and wounded about three thousand, according to Lebanese sources.

In the statement, Hezbollah said that "following investigations we conducted, we assign responsibility for what happened to the Israeli enemy. The criminal enemy will pay a fitting price for this aggression."
