Earlier today (Monday), the IDF dropped fliers over eastern Rafah, calling on all civilians present to evacuate temporarily to expanded humanitarian safe zones in the Deir al-Balah and Khan Yunis areas.

The IDF dropped two fliers, one red and one blue. The abridged translations of both are provided below.

Red flier:

"To all the residents and those sheltering in (Eastern Rafah), the IDf will operate with great intensity against the terror organizations in the area you are in, as it has done thus far. Anyone near the terror organizations endangers himself and his family.

"For your safety, the IDF beseeches you to immediately evacuate to the expanded humanitarian area in the al-Mawasi area. We warn you that the city of Gaza is still a dangerous combat zone, avoid returning north to Wadi Gaza.

We warn you not to approach the eastern and southern security fence."

Blue flier:

"The IDF announces the expansion of the humanitarian area in the al-Mawasi area. From now on, the area will be spread from Deir al-Balah in the north to (map blocs) the south and east to the center of the city of Khan Yunis as it appears on the attached map. Expanded humanitarian aid will continue in this area.

"The IDF will continue to fight the terrorist organizations using you as a human shield. We remind you that the city of Gaza is a dangerous combat zone, avoid going up north of Wadi Gaza.

"Do not approach the eastern and southern security fence.

"Israel Defense Forces."
