A shooting attack occurred today (Thursday) at the gas station at the entrance to the settlement of Eli. Two people were killed, not including the terrorist who was reportedly neutralized.

Magen David Adom stated that “at 5:08 PM, a report was received at MDA’s 101 call center in the Jerusalem area, regarding people wounded from gunshots on road 60 at the gas station near the entrance to Eli. Medics and paramedics of MDA provided on site medical care to two mortally wounded and unconscious individuals.” The two wounded, escribed as men in their twenties and forties, were later declared dead.

Following the incident, IDF Rear Command instructed residents of the settlement to enter safe areas and firmly close the doors due to fear of terrorist infiltration. Road 60 was also blocked to traffic.

The IDF Spokesperson said that “a short time ago, a terrorist arrived at the gas station in Eli in the Binyamin Brigade area and opened fire. The terrorist was eliminated. The forces are blocking roads and pursuing additional suspects in the area.”
