The wave of anti-Semitism in the world: the Hasidic singer Avraham Fried, who lives in New York, told about his feelings in light of the events of hatred against Jews in the world and called to immigrate to Israel.

In an interview with Benny Titelbaum in "Kan Moreshet" Fried described the fear in the streets of New York. "I don't remember anything like this, worry, there is even a little fear, you see the hatred and feel it. We knew it was there, but this time it is visible."

The government should enact laws before it is too late

Fried also referred to the tearing down of pictures of the abductees around New York. "It's hard to see people tearing down the posters of the kidnapped people and throwing them in the trash." Fried called on the American government to take steps against the phenomenon. "We must enact new laws here against this. Is this democracy? It's simply inconceivable," he points out.

He added, "I hope they open their eyes before it's too late, there is a mess here that cannot be controlled, we see what they are capable of doing."

At the end of the interview, the Hasidic singer was asked if Jews should immigrate to Israel, Fried replied that he thinks yes, they should. "There are many who feel that this is the sign to immigrate to Israel," he notes. According to him, "Especially in London, in France, in Belgium who feel it terribly, also in the USA."
