According to the findings of the investigation and the details of the indictment, on August 25th in the evening, the family member requested to carry out cleaning activities in her room due to ongoing renovations in their home. When she approached her brother with this request, an argument ensued between them, which quickly escalated into an assault. The brother grabbed her by the neck, punched her, and kicked her in the stomach and face. As a result of the suspect's actions, the victim required medical treatment.

Police officers from the Shalem station and Border Police soldiers from Jerusalem who were called to the scene arrested the suspect. After completing the investigation, the prosecution unit filed the indictment in court today, along with a request for the court to impose restrictive conditions on the suspect's bail.

The Israeli Police take any form of violence very seriously and will continue to act thoroughly and professionally in addressing violence in general and domestic violence in particular, with the aim of fully investigating such cases and prosecuting the involved violent offenders.
