Mother murders her child, Herzliya case, Court

Mother who murdered her son: "I Was Abducted by Aliens and Taken to a Spaceship"

Sigal Itskovich, the suspect in the murder of her 6-year-old son from Herzliya, claimed in a court hearing to extend her detention that she is under the influence of aliens and was attacked and even abducted by them along with her family two weeks before the incident.

Sigal Yaana Itskovich, who is suspected of killing her son Liam with an axe about a month ago in Herzliya, stated during the hearing that she sees aliens and is under their influence. According to her, "My family and I were attacked by aliens. Two weeks before the incident, I was abducted to a spaceship with my family, and I had no protection."

After her statements were interrupted during the hearing, she responded, "I want to tell you, Your Honour, that I need to go home to organize, gather things, clean, and prepare food. I have a lot of things to do at home." Last week, journalist Guy Peleg reported that the suspect, who admitted to her actions and apologized during the detention extension hearing, lost her composure during a reenactment of the murder at her Herzliya apartment and began to act out and confront the investigators. The reenactment was halted before it was completed, but the investigators were able to document part of it.

In a police investigation conducted about a month ago, the suspect admitted to her actions and detailed the sequence of events to the investigators. The police estimated that "the suspect was aware of her actions and even planned them." As mentioned, only after the indictment is filed will it be decided whether she is fit to stand trial and deal with legal proceedings against her.
