At the break of dawn and in order to prevent prohibited gatherings, following the instructions of the Home Front Command, Rabbi Yitzhak Yosef ascended to the grave of his father, Rabbi Ovadia Yosef, on the tenth anniversary of his passing.

Due to the guidelines, a memorial service was held with a limited number of attendees at the Sanhedria Cemetery. Rabbi Yosef recited the Kaddish and prayed for the success of the soldiers.
