Emergency rescue units were called this afternoon (Sunday) to a residential apartment on Gordon Street in Kiryat Yaarim (Telz Stone).
Goldman, a medic from Ichud Hatzala, said: "When we arrived at the scene, the family members told us that he climbed a ladder and fell from a pergola while building the Sukkah."
Tzevet Hatzalah volunteers Yehiel Blau and Eli Ehrentreau described the incident: "When we arrived at the scene, they directed us to the yard of a house on Gordon Street. When we arrived, we saw a 24-year-old man lying with bruises on his pelvis and limbs, after falling from a height of about 3 meters while he was building his sukkah. We gave him initial medical aid, including immobilization and dressings, and he was evacuated by an MDA intensive care unit in a moderate condition for further treatment in the trauma room at the Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital in Jerusalem."
According to paramedics from Ichud Hatzala, at this time, his condition is classified as moderate.
Nachman Tobol, spokesman for the Online Rescue Union, points out that this year, unfortunately, there have already been several cases of falls from heights during the preparations for Sukkos. People should follow the safety rules in order to avoid unnecessary disasters.
