Chasidic father's Shabbos shock: After naming his newborn 'daughter' at shul, he discovered that the baby was actually a boy

Last Shabbos, a chasidic avreich in Boro Park received an aliya at the Koson shul and named his newborn daughter "Freida Nehama."

After shul, he went to a kiddush at his in-laws' home, where he discovered that his newborn was actually a boy!

A nurse had mistakenly informed the father he had a daughter, and then they rushed her off because she needed immediate medical attention.

The father rushed home before Shabbos, unaware of the error. During Shabbos, the baby was transferred back to the mother. The baby's aunt visited and discovered that they baby was a boy.

The bris is scheduled for Friday.
